Boys & Girls Club of Newark
Mentorship Program

Growing TechShare’s impact, we partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Newark, a community center serving local youth from grades K-12. As part of our Mentorship Program, we invited the center’s teen students to help teach at our events. After introducing these teens to concepts in computer science and electrical engineering, we empower them to teach younger members of their community. By building a community of tech education where students are invited to become mentors themselves we hope to exponentially grow our collective impact, helping bridge systemic disparities.
